Each of our wooden bookmarks is handcrafted from carefully selected, environmentally responsible wood that only comes from well managed forests. This bookmark features artwork of Cyanea lamarckii, also known as the blue jellyfish or bluefire jellyfish. Populations in the western Pacific around Japan are sometimes distinguished as Cyanea nozakii or Cyanea capillata nozakii. This design is printed using durable non fading UV ink directly on one side of our maple center bookmark while the back is left blank showing the beautiful wood grain. Also framed by two inlays comprised of various domestic and exotic hardwoods with a complimenting pair of solid wood borders along both outer edges. The inlay accent woods and border combinations will vary with each bookmark. A gold rope tassel adds the finishing touch to the tone and design, plus it helps keep your book's pages well marked.
